Vintage Bifold Pouch

This vintage item was probably once used as a coin holder/wallet. It is a bifold with a snap closure. There is both an inner, open pouch and an open slot. The material may be leather or is more likely faux-leather but is beautifully textured and weathered with time. My favorite detail is the stamped W2185 inside. While this was likely used to hold coins at one time, I albsolutely see it as a very cool bookcover for a handmade, mixed media book. It measures 8 x 5 inches when open.
