This item is a true piece of history and one not easily found. From the Computer Manufacturing Company in downtown San Francisco started by Louis Ross comes this Precision Spiral Slide Ruler Computer. Ross closed his company in 1928, meaning that this item is likely close to 100+ years old. It is not only historical but it is quite beautiful in colors of ochre and sea green. It is in excellent condition and still spins. It is housed in a circular, leather case with snap closure. As is, the item is very cool. I can imagine it also being used as a part of an interactive assemblage. Or simply hung on a wall. The diameter of the case is approximately 8.75 inches.
