This item is a strand of twenty (20) telsum silver pendants handmade in Ethiopia. Telsum is a type of silver amulet from Ethiopia that is worn as a protective talisman against evil spirits, the evil eye, and lunar spells. Each pendant is unique and the surface is embossed and textural, with an organic design. Size varies but most are .5 inches at their widest point and just under an inch long. These can be used as is or can be broken up to use in mixed media art.
