This fascinating item is an undated, vintage, soft cover ledger that has the label PILL-CASE on the cover. It measures 7 x 12 inches. Inside, in alphabetical order, is a handwritten listing of hundreds of medications and prices. There are also math notations randomly throughout the book. All but 6 (12 back and front) pages are filled with this information. Close to the end, in green ink, is a listing for Fly Paper at 5 cents each. The person behind this meticulously added the total cost of all, which came to $1,167.70 - quite a statement of the time. My favorite page is the last which includes the total value on a small sheet torn off an old school adding machine, attached to the book with yellowed tape. It is clear that this is a true one-of-a-kind.
