Traces in Time is my all-new collection created with WOW Embossing Powder. It includes all three individual sets: Baked Clay, Rustic Remnants, and Stonewashed. You get seven unique powders. The Traces of Time collection is inspired by weathered surfaces, faded pigments, collected fragments, and the stories revealed through creative exploration. Each container holds 15ml/0.5oz of powder. A good shake is recommended before every pour so that you get the full mix of crystals. And remember, every pour is unique.
The Baked Clay Trio is rooted in raw earth, sun-baked ceramics and tones. The palette ranges across the spectrum from earthy browns to mottled red to dusty grayish-pink. The make look textural but these melts are completely smooth to the touch.
In this set you will receive...
Burnish Earth: A rich and earthy grounding neutral that bridges deep stone grey, warm soil brown, and flecks of yellow that catch the light. This powder melts down to an ultra-smooth finish so that the speckled color distribution adds organic complexity without actual texture.
Weathered Rose: A vibrant pink-red tone softened by earthy brown and nude speckles scattered throughout. Adds warmth, and vibrancy to your work at the same time, along with complexity, dimension, and a smooth finish.
Dusty Blush: An ethereal, complex neutral blending pale pink-nude and soft blue-gray, with a subtle cool undertone. The blue-gray soften the brightness of the pink and the pink lifts the tone of the soft blue-gray. Dusty Blush melts completely smooth to the touch.
The Rustic Remnants Duo is inspired by the gradual transformations with time of nature and objects. A bit vintage and a bit industrial, these two powders offer rich texture and organic earthy warmth. Each of these formulations include speckled finishes over a warm base palette to create an authentically aged, tactile surfaces.
In this set you will receive...
Verdigris Dust: Capturing the precise moment of seasonal shift, Verdigris Dust fuses a warm green base with flecks of rich mustard yellow—reminiscent of autumn foliage turning over time and metal surfaces aging with grace. Once heated, you'll discover a textured, heavily speckled finish, which adds organic depth and authentic vintage character to any mixed media project.
Coffee Grounds: Deep, rich, and full of complex character - like a good cup of coffee should - this powder features a moody, espresso brown base flecked with warm mustard yellow accents. The contrast of these two elements makes it a standout choice for background layers, distressed edges, and dimensional detail work in your creations.
The Stonewashed Duo looks smooth but actually has a fine, gritty texture when touched. Formulated with large chunks of embedded mica flakes, both powders in the set create a randomized water-spray effect across the surface when heated. Depending upon the number of mica crystals in your pour, you can get subtle or bold sprays effects.
In this set you will receive...
Faded Ink: Evoking the worn look of classic stonewashed blue denim and timeworn ink, Faded Ink melts into a soft, slate-blue finish that feels finely gritty to the touch. As heat is applied, the embedded large mica flakes settle into a striking, random splash pattern, creating effortless organic movement across your work.
Smoked Parchment: Moody and subtly dramatic. Smoked Parchment pairs a pale, misty grey base with fine spots of charcoal scattered throughout. While visually smooth, it is gently gritty when touched, with large mica flakes forming a unique, unpredictable spray pattern as the powder melts.
