Looks textural with all those inclusions but actually feels smooth. Natural paper is made from raw plant-based fibers. Each sheet of this paper is handmade from Milkweed Fiber - which the Monarch Butterfly feeds on. Sheets are all unique, measure approximately 9 X 12 inches, and are relatively lightweight. The soft grey color is the result of a winter harvest. The stocks are steamed after which the fibers are stripped, cooked, rinsed, and then made into pulp. And paper is born.
