From Belagio Enterprises comes this bundle of four 9 x 7.5 inch hand-cut pieces of cork fabric. It has a taupe/soft green tone and silver metallic shines from within the divots in the surface.
The company uses is real cork from the cork oak tree which is harvested responsibly and in an environmentally sustainable fashion. The cork is laminated to a polycotton fabric for durability and support. It is a lighter-weight fabric than most cork fabrics intentionally. This cork fabric can be sewn on a machine - seams ironed flat (with pressing cloth between the iron and fabric), painted, stenciled, die-cut, stamped, wood-burned, and colored with pencils or permanent markers. and used for fashion accessories as well as home decor. When die-cut, the edges self-heal and are smooth. Please note the fabric is not washable.
This cork fabric is biodegradable, anti-static, hypoallergenic, and is made up of 50% cork, 48% TC, and 2% Glue.
