From On Your Mark, my 2025 fabric release from FreeSpirit, comes this ripped strip roll. This item is perfect for the mixed media artist - or anybody else who doesn't need large cuts of fabric. It is a roll that includes 1 ripped strip of each of the 16 designs in On Your Mark. The strips measure approximately 5 x 22 inches -- but do vary a bit in size. Expect lots of torn edges and lots of loose threads, as each piece of fabric has been hand torn by me!
On Your Mark is all about making your mark – literally and figuratively. In my mind, a small detail can often make a big creative impact, and I highlight this in all 16 designs. You will find marks in the form of symbols, letters, drips, splats, lines, color swatches, and the like. While these have personal meaning for me, the beauty of an abstract mark is that each can mean different things to different people. My hope is that these designs enable you to create something that is all your own and make your mark in your own creative world. So, on your mark, get set, go!
