This item is an antique metal spice caddy complete with six, round, unlabeled spice tins inside. Based on my research, best guest is that this is from the 1800s. It measures 9 x 6 x 4 inches, has hinged lid with holder, and a latch. The patina is so special with tomes of green, rust, and red throughout. The condition given its age is excellent for both the caddy and the inner spice tins. My favorite aspect is both that the tins inside are round (about 3 inches in diameter) and NOT labeled. To me this lends itself to being used in so many ways for art or storage without the spice identification.
