This item is for 5 worn and weathered railroad spikes. They are dated with deeply embossed numbers on the nail head. This cool effect was functional as it enabled the railroad company to identify the age of the railroad ties visually. In other words, if the nail head says 30 -- the spike is from 1930. These have a beautifully aged patina to their surface. The nails measure approximately 2 inches long.
