This beaut is a used antique ledger from 1917. A unique size, it measures approximately 5.75 x 11.75 inches. The cover is hand marbled and it has the perfect signed and dated label adhered. Inside there are 40 individual pages (80 front and back) and about 70% are written on. The text - in gorgeous script - was added in consecutive entries and multiple ink colors were used. Please note that while the book block is perfectly bound, it has completely come loose from the covers. Leave it as is and use the papers for collage or simply reattach with stitching. This is definitely a piece of history.
This textile is well-worn with age as is apparent in the attached images. It is distressed, torn, lightly stained, and has both loose seams and multiple holes throughout. In other words...it is perfectly imperfect.
