Thank you for visiting my website. My online shop is closed from Sunday May 9 through Sunday May 16 as I indulge in a staycation in NYC. The shop will officially reopen - with many new additions - on Monday May 17. I am also excited to announce that after a long delay due to the pandemic, I will reopen International shipping with a big International shop event from Friday May 21 to Sunday May 23. Stay tuned for more details.

Survey Results

Join me on Tuesday 8/18 at 3:00pm Eastern on Facebook to hear a discussion between Kristin Williams and myself in which we share the results of our recent follow-up survey looking at the impact of the pandemic on the art community.

COVID-19 and the Art Community: All New Follow-Up Survey

In May, Kristin Williams (artist and owner of Ephemera Paducah) and I created a survey looking at the impact of the pandemic on our art community. Over 1,600 people responded and the resulting information helped to shed some light on how we were all managing as artists, instructors, store owners, and consumers at that moment in time. You can find a written summary of those results here and a video of Kristin and I discussing the findings here.

Nearly three months have passed since the original survey and much has happened in the world since that time. We have decided to follow-up on the initial survey and to take the pulse of our community at this point in time. Our hope is that this can help to uncover the ongoing and changing impact of COVID-19 on our creative lives and provide information to help direct choices going forward in terms of in-person and online classes and community focus.

The new survey is 19-questions long and should take less than 10 minutes to complete. It is also 100% anonymous. You must complete the survey by August 2 and the results will be widely shared online soon after. Click here to begin.

Community Survey: Where do we go from here?

Our community has been greatly impacted by the pandemic. Kristin Williams (owner of Ephemera Paducah in Kentucky)  and I have decided to create a survey to take the pulse of the community to help uncover the impact of COVID-19 on our creative lives and provide information to direct efforts going forward in terms of in-person and online classes, art events, exhibitions, supply shopping, and community focus. There are 19 questions, all but one of which need to be answered to complete the survey. It is 100% anonymous. The results will be initially shared online via a Facebook Live presentation and later via posting so that everybody can have access to and benefit from this information. Please share and help spread the word. You can take the survey here. Thank you!
